Processing

Everything starts with the supply of raw materials. “Rag” is collected from various charity shops and textile banks, throughout the East Midlands by our own fleet of vans and trailers.

When the vehicles arrive at our factory the recycling starts. All bags are opened and fed up our conveyor belt system. Heavyweight items, shoes and waste are removed first. This follows through until the last items to be removed into their respective cages are lightweight clothing.

Once all items have been separated, the process of fine grading starts. Experienced staff inspect each item before they are placed into tubs and weighed.
